Prayagraj,

09 Jan (HS): To

instill courage in the traders after the deadly attack and firing on Sunny

Soni, son of bullion trader Ankit Soni, resident of Jamilabad Mohalla of

Phulpur police station area, by a criminal released from jail and his

associates on Wednesday evening, Industrial Development Minister of Uttar Pradesh

Government Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi visited the spot on Thursday and met the

family members of the bullion trader and other traders of the area. He took

information about the incident. While giving instructions to the police and

administrative officials, he said that such action should be taken against the

accused that their seven generations will remember it. Demolition action should

be taken against illegal constructions.

Upon

reaching Jamilabad in Phulpur, Minister Nandi met and inquired about the well-being

of Sunny Soni, son of bullion trader Ankit Soni, who was attacked by criminals

late Wednesday evening. During this, bullion trader Ankit Soni and other

traders informed him about the high-handedness of the criminals. Minister Nandi

reassured the traders that the rule of law prevails under the Yogi government.

No trader or entrepreneur needs to fear criminals and mafias. Do business

openly.

Minister

Nandi directed the SDM to investigate the residences of all the accused in the

deadly attack on the bullion trader. If they have constructed illegal

structures, they should investigate and take action to demolish them as per the

rules. The strictest legal action should be taken against the criminals, so

that traders are not intimidated by the activities of criminals and their fear

is allayed.

Sunny

Soni, 22-year-old son of Jamilabad resident bullion trader Ankit Soni, used to

sit with his father at the bullion shop. He used to do business. On Wednesday

evening, he was sitting outside his house warming himself by the fire. Then

four miscreants, who came on two bikes, reached near Sunny Soni's house and

started beating him. To save his life, he ran towards his uncle's house. The

miscreants chased him and started firing. Several rounds were fired. It was a

coincidence that not a single bullet hit Sunny. The miscreants fled from the

spot after firing.
