New Delhi, 08 January (H.S.): Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday, apprising her of the education sector's aspirations while discussing transformative proposals for school and higher education systems.

Through a social media post, Pradhan revealed deliberations on strengthening education, research, innovation, and skill development. He expressed confidence that, true to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government tradition, Budget 2026-27 will deliver substantial, ambitious investments in these domains.Such allocations will accelerate employment-led growth and play a pivotal role in realizing the 'Viksit Bharat' vision, the minister affirmed.
