Suvendu Adhikari pays tribute to martyrs of Nandigram and Netai


West Bengal, 07 January (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, paid tribute to the martyrs of Nandigram and Netai through separate posts on the social media platform 'X' on Wednesday.

In the first post, he respectfully saluted the three immortal martyrs of the Nandigram land protection movement on the occasion of Martyrdom Day on January 7, 2007. Describing the Nandigram movement as a symbol of the people's struggle against injustice and oppression, he concluded the post with, Jai Jai Nandigram.

In the second post, Suvendu Adhikari remembered the mass killing incident that took place in Netai village of Jhargram district on January 7, 2011, and expressed his deep respect for the martyrs who lost their lives. He said that the sacrifice of the martyrs of Netai can never be forgotten and their sacrifice will continue to inspire the struggle against injustice.
