Kolkata, 07 January (H.S.): Former West Bengal BJP President and Union Minister Dr. Sukanta Majumdar launched a scathing attack on a senior Trinamool Congress leader through a post on the social media platform 'X' on Wednesday. He alleged that a Trinamool leader is addicted to cheap stunts and constant lying and has been openly spreading misleading and false propaganda for the past few days.
Sukanta Majumdar said that no matter how hard the said leader and his uneducated and unruly followers try, the truth cannot be hidden. He quoted a proverb, saying that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and that attempts to suppress the truth with lies always fail.
In his post, Sukanta Majumdar clarified that Gautam Barman's wife, a resident of South Dinajpur district, has herself publicly admitted that she had informed him about her problem. He also clarified that the woman did not say anywhere that she had to return crying because she did not receive an assurance of help. According to Sukanta Majumdar, the woman also clarified that he had informed her about the necessary assistance at that time.
He further stated that the most important fact is that neither of the two individuals mentioned, who had gone to Maharashtra for work, was ever a booth president of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Sukanta Majumdar alleged that this ridiculous and misleading situation is arising due to the spreading of lies without a basic understanding of the organizational structure and booth-level politics.
At the end of the post, Sukanta Majumdar quoted a proverb, The rope is always around the neck of the overly clever, and accused the Trinamool Congress of distorting the truth.
