
Kolkata, 07 January (H.S.): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal has undergone a significant organizational reshuffle. State BJP President and MP Samik Bhattacharya, announced new appointments to various important party positions. An official appointment letter was issued in this regard on Wednesday.
According to the letter, the appointments of state-level office bearers of the West Bengal BJP have been made with the consent and approval of the party's national president, J.P. Nadda, and are effective immediately. Samik Bhattacharya has been retained as the state president, while several senior leaders have been given responsibilities as vice-presidents, general secretaries, secretaries, treasurers, and other organizational positions.
According to the list, Sanjay Singh, Raju Banerjee, Debasree Chaudhuri, Agnimitra Paul, Deepak Barman, Jagannath Chattopadhyay, Manoj Tigga, Nisith Pramanik, Tapas Roy, Amitabh Roy, Tanuja Chakraborty, and Prabal Raha have been appointed as state vice-presidents.
Jyotirmoy Singh Mahato, Locket Chatterjee, Saumitra Khan, Bapi Goswami, and Shashi Agnihotri have been given the responsibility of state general secretaries.
In addition, Shankar Ghosh, Dipanjan Guha, Sonali Murmu, Manoj Pandey, Amlan Bhaduri, Mahadev Sarkar, Sakharav Sarkar, Sintu Senapati, Sarbari Mukherjee, Mohan Sharma, Vibha Majumdar, and Sanjay Verma have been appointed as state secretaries.
Financial and administrative responsibilities have also been assigned within the party organization. Ashish Bapat has been appointed as the treasurer, while Praveen Agarwal and Vidyasagar Mantri have been appointed as joint treasurers. Pranay Roy has been appointed as the office secretary and Pratyush Mandal as the joint office secretary.
According to BJP sources, these appointments are aimed at further strengthening the organization and preparing the party for upcoming political challenges.
