07 Jan (HS): In Shahjahanpur, the son of Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, head of
Ittehad-e-Millat Council, was very nervous after the accident. On receiving
information, the police reached the spot and on getting suspicious, asked him
to open the trunk of the car, but he kept refusing by making excuses that the
keys were lying here and there. Later, when the police showed strictness, he
opened the trunk. Crystal drugs were recovered from the bag kept in the trunk.
Kachiani Kheda Hanuman Temple, situated on the side of the National Highway, is
very famous. Often, drivers stop their vehicles on the side to have darshan of
Hanumanji. At around 7:30 pm, the driver of a bus from the Sitapur depot had
also gone to visit the temple. Farman's car collided with the rear of the
parked bus. The impact was so severe that the front of the car was damaged.
People
pulled Farman out. Just then, upon receiving information, the inspector from
the Nagariya police station arrived at the scene with a group of constables. He
hadn't revealed his name to anyone. The inspector found his behavior
suspicious, so he began searching the car.
When
asked to open the trunk, he refused. He said that the key was lost somewhere.
Then when asked strictly, he told his name and father's name, then the
inspector informed the higher authorities. After this, SP Rural Diksha Bhanware
Arun, CO Jyoti Yadav reached the spot. A trolley bag was recovered from the
trunk, which was brought to the police station. The police found half a gram of
drugs in a packet and a syringe. During police interrogation, Farman admitted
that he himself used drugs.
After
the accident, 15 passengers aboard the roadways bus were sent to their
destinations by another bus. The roadways bus and Farman's car were parked at
the police station. It is being reported that Farman was on his way to
Allahabad and had returned on the way. On Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm, in
Tilhar, Shahjahanpur, on the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway, the car of Farman,
son of IMC chief and Bareilly riot accused Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, collided
with a roadways bus parked in front of Kachiani Kheda temple. During the
investigation, the police searched his bag and recovered half a gram of crystal
drugs. A syringe was also found in the bag. After this, Farman was given a
medical examination. The police are investigating the matter. He has now been
taken into custody.
Farman,
a resident of Mohalla Biharipur in the Kotwali police station area of
Bareilly, was going towards Bareilly in his car. The driver of the Sitapur
depot bus going to Haridwar parked it in front of the Hanuman temple at
Kachiani Kheda and went to offer Prasad. During this, Farman's car coming from
behind collided with the bus. People somehow pulled Farman out who was trapped
in the car. He was very nervous after the collision. However, he did not get
much hurt in the accident. On receiving the information, SP Rural Diksha
Bhanware Arun reached the police station and investigated. She told that during
the investigation, half a gram of crystal drugs was found in the packet.
Drugs
were purchased from Delhi: “Farman purchased one gram of drugs from Delhi for
personal use. He had already consumed half a gram. He is undergoing a medical
examination. Once the facts are revealed, a report will be filed and action
will be taken,” said Rajesh Dwivedi, SP.
