Shahjahanpur,

07 Jan (HS): In Shahjahanpur, the son of Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, head of

Ittehad-e-Millat Council, was very nervous after the accident. On receiving

information, the police reached the spot and on getting suspicious, asked him

to open the trunk of the car, but he kept refusing by making excuses that the

keys were lying here and there. Later, when the police showed strictness, he

opened the trunk. Crystal drugs were recovered from the bag kept in the trunk.

Kachiani Kheda Hanuman Temple, situated on the side of the National Highway, is

very famous. Often, drivers stop their vehicles on the side to have darshan of

Hanumanji. At around 7:30 pm, the driver of a bus from the Sitapur depot had

also gone to visit the temple. Farman's car collided with the rear of the

parked bus. The impact was so severe that the front of the car was damaged.

People

pulled Farman out. Just then, upon receiving information, the inspector from

the Nagariya police station arrived at the scene with a group of constables. He

hadn't revealed his name to anyone. The inspector found his behavior

suspicious, so he began searching the car.

When

asked to open the trunk, he refused. He said that the key was lost somewhere.

Then when asked strictly, he told his name and father's name, then the

inspector informed the higher authorities. After this, SP Rural Diksha Bhanware

Arun, CO Jyoti Yadav reached the spot. A trolley bag was recovered from the

trunk, which was brought to the police station. The police found half a gram of

drugs in a packet and a syringe. During police interrogation, Farman admitted

that he himself used drugs.

After

the accident, 15 passengers aboard the roadways bus were sent to their

destinations by another bus. The roadways bus and Farman's car were parked at

the police station. It is being reported that Farman was on his way to

Allahabad and had returned on the way. On Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm, in

Tilhar, Shahjahanpur, on the Lucknow-Delhi National Highway, the car of Farman,

son of IMC chief and Bareilly riot accused Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, collided

with a roadways bus parked in front of Kachiani Kheda temple. During the

investigation, the police searched his bag and recovered half a gram of crystal

drugs. A syringe was also found in the bag. After this, Farman was given a

medical examination. The police are investigating the matter. He has now been

taken into custody.

Farman,

a resident of Mohalla Biharipur in the Kotwali police station area of

Bareilly, was going towards Bareilly in his car. The driver of the Sitapur

depot bus going to Haridwar parked it in front of the Hanuman temple at

Kachiani Kheda and went to offer Prasad. During this, Farman's car coming from

behind collided with the bus. People somehow pulled Farman out who was trapped

in the car. He was very nervous after the collision. However, he did not get

much hurt in the accident. On receiving the information, SP Rural Diksha

Bhanware Arun reached the police station and investigated. She told that during

the investigation, half a gram of crystal drugs was found in the packet.

Drugs
