Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday, sharing a post on the social media platform 'X'. He wrote, The cup of sin is full, and claimed that the BJP has been completely wiped out in Birbhum.
In his post, Abhishek Banerjee alleged that the BJP's landlords operating from Delhi have waged a war against Bengal. He said that the central government is withholding funds rightfully due to Bengal, the Bengali language is being ridiculed, Bengal's cultural and historical symbols are being insulted, and people are being persecuted out of vengeance.
Abhishek Banerjee also alleged that the BJP is conspiring with the Election Commission to disenfranchise legitimate voters, starting with Bengal. He said that this is weakening the foundations of democracy, but Bengal will not bow down.
He claimed that the voice rising from Birbhum is a warning to anti-Bengal forces, and their arrogance will be the cause of their downfall. At the end of the post, Abhishek Banerjee said that no matter how many attacks are launched, in the end, Bengal will prevail.
