Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 03 Jan (HS): The 66th

Convocation of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will be held on

January 5, 2026. With the convocation the first Folk Art festival and Name Extension

Commemoration Day will be celebrated.

Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr Vijay Fulari

will preside over the Convocation. Noted researcher Dr Sunil Bhagwat will be

the chief guest.

On January 11 and 12 the first Folk Art Festival

will be held. From foru districts under the University, teams from 63 colleges

will present 17 art forms. On January 14 Name Extension of the University Day

will be celebrated. Besides these programmes Mahatma Gandhi Chair is conducting

a two-day camp, a three-day seminar to mark Savitriabai Phule birth

anniversary, Youth Day on January 12 and Republic Day on January 28 will be

celebrated. In February first week an international conference on Physics is being

organised at the university.
