Washington , 17 January (H.S.): Iran's exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi implored the international community on Friday to implement decisive measures against Tehran's rulers, asserting that the Islamic Republic stands close to collapse amid a ferocious crackdown on civilians.

Addressing a packed news conference in Washington, Pahlavi characterized the regime as a hostile occupying force that hijacked our homeland, framing the ongoing upheaval not as a debate between reform and revolution, but as a fundamental contest between occupation and liberation.

He alleged massive-scale violence, claiming more than 12,000 Iranians were massacred in 48 hours, with protesters pursued even into hospitals and executed in cold blood—families reportedly compelled to pay for the bullets used before receiving the bodies.

Despite the brutality, Pahlavi declared the regime's grip weakening, likening its desperate response to a wounded animal clinging to power. He outlined six concrete actions for global powers: first, safeguarding civilians by dismantling the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' repressive apparatus, including leadership and command structures; second, enforcing economic strangulation through asset freezes worldwide and targeting ghost tanker fleets; third, ensuring unfettered internet access via tools like Starlink; fourth, effecting diplomatic ostracism by expelling Iranian envoys and pursuing legal accountability for crimes against humanity; fifth, securing the immediate release of political prisoners; and sixth, recognizing support for Iranians as a safeguard for global stability against 47 years of exported terror, without necessitating foreign troop deployments.

Pahlavi stressed that the regime's downfall remains inevitable—with or without the world's help—yet swift international resolve would accelerate the process and spare countless lives, positioning a liberated Iran as a force for regional peace rather than extremism.
