
Chandauli,
17 Jan (HS): Saturday became a special and historic day for Mahoba, Amethi,
Shamli, Hathras and Auraiya, including Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. In
Chandauli district, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant laid the foundation
stone of the Integrated Court Complex in the presence of the state's Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath. On this occasion, Chief Justice of Allahabad High
Court Arun Bhasali, five Supreme Court judges and 18 other judges of Allahabad
High Court were present.
On
this occasion, the Chief Minister of the state, while welcoming the CJI, the
Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, and other judges, said that there is
no shortage of funds for integrated court complexes in the state. As part of a
pilot project, the foundation stone for integrated court complexes was laid in
these six districts. This gift has generated enthusiasm among advocates and the
general public in six districts, including Chandauli. The long-standing demand
for court building construction in the district will also be fulfilled.
Extensive
security arrangements were made in the district in view of the presence of
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Suryakant and Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath. Security was handled by ADG Piyush Mordia and Superintendent of
Police Aditya Langhe. Chandauli District Magistrate Chandramohan Garg stated
that the total cost of the integrated court complexes to be built in six
districts of the state is approximately Rs. 1,500 crore. He added that the
court complex to be built in Chandauli will cost approximately Rs. 236 crore,
which will include 37 courtrooms, advocates' chambers, judicial officers'
residences, and the district judge's residential building. The project is
expected to be completed in approximately 18 months, with completion expected
by April 2027.
