16 Jan (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was busy for two consecutive

days in managing the security, facilities and monitoring of the devotees for

Makar Sankranti/Khichdi Mahaparva, organised Janta Darshan on Friday. The Chief

Minister met the people at Gorakhnath Temple and listened to their problems and

directed the officials to resolve them quickly. The Chief Minister, who

appeared serious on some complaints related to land lease allotment during

Janta Darshan, directed the officials that in whichever village there is a

complaint of lease allotment after taking money, an immediate inquiry should be

conducted and strict action should be taken against the guilty.

Minister Yogi Adityanath listened to the problems of about 200 people during

the Janta Darshan programme organised on Friday morning in Mahant Digvijaynath

Smriti Bhawan auditorium of Gorakhnath temple. He himself went to the people

sitting on the chairs. He listened to and understood their problems and

complaints. Referring everyone's applications to the concerned officials, he

directed for their quick and satisfactory resolution. The Chief Minister

assured the people that the government is committed to solving the problems of

every victim. In Janta Darshan, a woman complained about irregularities in the

allotment of land lease to the poor in the village. On this, the Chief Minister

told the officers that wherever land lease has been given after taking money,

the responsibility of the concerned should be fixed and strict action should be

ensured.

In

response to complaints about crime, the Chief Minister directed police officers

to take strict action against criminals. He also directed administrative

officials to ensure that every eligible person receives the benefits of

government welfare schemes. In this context, when a woman expressed concern

about her daughter's marriage due to financial constraints, Chief Minister Yogi

directed officials to arrange for her marriage under the Chief Minister's Mass

Marriage Scheme.

Chief

Minister Yogi Adityanath told several people who came to Janta Darshan seeking

financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses that no one's

treatment will be stopped due to lack of funds. He instructed officials to

expedite the preparation and provision of high-quality treatment estimates for

those in need. The government will immediately provide funds upon receiving the

estimates.
