
Chitrakoot,
16 Jan (HS): Dhirendra Shastri, the head priest of Bageshwar Dham, who arrived
in Chitrakoot, the place of Lord Shri Ram's penance, performed a
circumambulation of Lord Shri Kamatnath Sarkar, the fulfiller of wishes, late
at night. He also reached Ram Ghat on the river Ganga Mandakini and praised the
glory of Chitrakoot, the land of the gods.
On
Thursday at around 5 pm, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head priest of
Bageshwar Dham, arrived in the religious city of Chitrakoot. After landing at
Devangana Airport by a special plane, he departed for the Deendayal Research
Institute under tight security. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri had arrived in Jaipur
to attend the birth anniversary celebrations of his guru, Tulsi Peethadhishwar
Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Maharaj. After attending the birth anniversary
celebrations, Acharya Pandit Dhirendra Shastri arrived in Chitrakoot by special
plane at Devangana Airport.
From
there, under tight security, he proceeded directly to the DRI's Arogyadham.
Here, he met with DRI's National Organization Secretary, Abhay Mahajan, late in
the evening. After paying homage to the national sage Nanaji Deshmukh,
Dhirendra Shastri, along with his devotees, visited Lord Shri Kamatnath Sarkar,
the fulfiller of wishes, and performed the Panchkosi Parikrama of Kamadgiri
Mountain late at night. After this, reaching the Ramghat bank of the river
Ganga Mandakini, he bowed before the shrine of Swami Matt Gajendra Nath, the
king of Chitrakoot, and sang the praises of Chitrakoot. During the Kamadgiri
Parikrama, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri also drank tea. He then left by road for
Banda, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the four-day Hanuman Katha on
Friday.
