Kathmandu, 16 January (H.S.): Families of Gen-Z martyrs staged a sit-in demonstration on Friday at the main gate of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Office in Singha Durbar, protesting the government's failure to implement monthly sustenance allowances as promised.

Compelled after futile pursuits across multiple ministries, approximately 20 family members—led by Gen-Z Shaheed Family Welfare Society Secretary Roshan Gautam—resorted to the demonstration.

Gautam lamented perpetual inter-ministerial referrals leaving them shuttling with files, necessitating the bold step at the PMO to demand accountability for the undeclared martyrs' stipends.
