New Delhi, 10 January (H.S.): Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment Mansukh Mandaviya called on India's youth on Saturday to shoulder the responsibility of building a developed nation during the inaugural session of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at Bharat Mandapam.

Addressing the gathering, Mandaviya emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for all 1.4 billion citizens to collectively achieve Viksit Bharat, with youth playing the pivotal role as torchbearers. He recalled Modi's Independence Day declaration from the Red Fort that nation-building belongs not solely to the government but to every citizen, positioning young leaders as the vanguard of this transformative journey.

Mandaviya urged youth to actively engage in nation-building, leveraging their skills, energy, and innovation to elevate India to new heights. He declared such young participants as the nation's future, essential to realizing the Viksit Bharat dream through hands-on contributions.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval also addressed the youth, reminding them that India's freedom came at the immense cost of ancestors' sacrifices, enduring humiliations, village burnings, cultural destruction, and temple lootings. He challenged the current generation to draw inspiration from this history, committing to reconstruct a strong, glorious India.

Running from January 10 to 12 at Bharat Mandapam, Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2.0 follows its successful 2025 debut, emerging as a key initiative to amplify youth involvement in India's development trajectory.
