Bhubaneswar, 10 January (H.S.) : A small aircraft crashed in Rourkela, leaving six people injured, according to preliminary reports.

Transport Minister Bibhuti Jena said the nine-seater aircraft was flying from Bhubaneswar to Rourkela at the time of the incident. The aircraft was carrying four passengers and two crew members.

Rescue and relief operations were launched immediately after the crash, and all the injured were safely evacuated and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.

Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
