Guwahati, 10 January (HS): Following successful drives across the state, the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee launched the two-day ‘Raijor Padulit Raijor Congress’ campaign in Guwahati on Saturday.

On the first day, top Congress leaders including MP Pradyut Bordoloi, Leader of Opposition Debabrata Saikia, Pradesh Mahila Congress President Mira Barthakur and former MP Abdul Khaleque consulted representatives of various organizations for inputs on the party’s election manifesto. The team also met local media heads and engaged with the public at markets in Noonmati and Bamunimaidam.

Tomorrow, the campaign will continue with interactions at eminent educationist Dinesh Baishya’s residence and at Kahua Ban Resort. Pradesh Congress President Gaurav Gogoi is expected to join the program, which will also witness the formal entry of former AASU leader Rezaul Karim Sarkar and several community leaders into the party at Manavendra Sharma Complex.
