Guwahati, 10 January (HS): Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Saturday inaugurated the 2nd Northeast Healthcare Management Conclave in Guwahati. The conclave, organised by the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI), North East Chapter, focused on strengthening patient care and healthcare infrastructure in the region.

Addressing the event, the Governor said that healthcare goes beyond treatment and is essential for human dignity and social justice. He highlighted the Centre’s initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat and digital health programmes, and said that the Assam government’s efforts in infrastructure and human resource development are reinforcing the healthcare ecosystem in the state.--------
