Chennai, 8 September (H.S.) : In a heart-wrenching incident, an 81-year-old man allegedly killed his 74-year-old wife who was suffering from health issues and attempted to take his own life in Maharashtra's Palghar district. The incident came to light when their son discovered the horrific scene and immediately informed the police.

According to reports, the elderly couple had been struggling with long-term health issues, which might have driven the man to commit this desperate act. The son found his mother deceased and his father injured, prompting him to rush his father to the hospital.
