Meerut,

08 Sept (HS): Three people were detained here on Monday after reportedly

shooting a guy, according to authorities. They claimed two of the suspects were

injured in a confrontation in the Lisadi Gate police station area while being

transported to retrieve weapons used in the crime.

The

three accused, Danish alias Three Star, Aamir alias Jada, and Akram alias Mota,

assaulted and fired at Javed on Saturday.

Police say Javed almost escaped.

Ashok

Kumar Singh, Station House Officer at Lisadi Gate, stated that police detained

the three suspects in Narhada village after receiving a tip-off. During interrogation, Aamir and Danish

informed police that the firearms used in the attack were stashed in the bushes

near Madina Colony Phase 2. When they were led to the location to retrieve the

guns, both opened fire on the police squad, which replied in self-defense. Aamir

was shot in the right leg, and Danish in the left. The SHO confirmed that they

had been admitted to the district hospital.

According

to police, two cases have been filed against Danish at Lisadi Gate police

station.

Police

apprehended the culprit and found two firearms and ammo produced locally.
