Delhi, 8 September (H.S.): Defence Minister Rajnath Singh
interacted with students and faculty of Navy Children School (NCS), Delhi, as part of its Diamond Jubilee celebrations at South Block, New Delhi, on September 8, 2025.
Addressing the gathering, the Defence Minister urged students to dream with purpose, pursue their ambitions with sincerity, and nurture a strong sense of national pride. He underscored the importance of humility, strength, honesty, and respect in every sphere of life, stressing that true success lies in the integrity of one’s character. Highlighting the formative influence of schools, he placed special emphasis on character development as a cornerstone of future leadership.
Shri Rajnath Singh lauded NCS Delhi for its distinguished role in shaping young minds through discipline, service, and patriotism. He noted that schools operating under the Ministry of Defence are far more than centres of academic learning; they are institutions that instill the values of leadership, responsibility, and integrity essential to nation-building.
During the event, students shared their experiences and showcased how NCS has been instrumental in their holistic growth. They also presented the Raksha Mantri with handcrafted tokens of respect, along with a Coffee Table Book and Crest that reflected the school’s legacy and achievements.
The interaction marked a symbolic tribute to NCS’s six decades of shaping future citizens, while reinforcing the vision of education anchored in values, discipline, and service to the nation.
