Delhi, 8 September (H.S.): The Armed Forces are set to host the Combined Commanders’ Conference (CCC) 2025 in Kolkata, West Bengal, from September 15 to 17. This year’s edition, themed “Year of Reforms – Transforming for the Future”, will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister and will witness the participation of the Raksha Mantri, National Security Advisor, Raksha Rajya Mantri, Chief of Defence Staff, Defence Secretary, and other senior officials from both civil and military establishments.

The conference will focus on Reforms, Transformation and Change, and Operational Preparedness, underlining the Armed Forces’ commitment to structural reforms, integration across services, and technological modernisation. Discussions will aim to ensure the forces remain agile, decisive, and fully prepared for challenges in an increasingly complex geo-strategic environment.

In keeping with its tradition of inclusive engagement, CCC 2025 will also feature interactive sessions, allowing officers and personnel across ranks to bring field-level perspectives into the strategic deliberations. By blending operational insights with high-level policy directions, the conference seeks to further strengthen India’s military readiness and long-term defence posture.

The Combined Commanders’ Conference is regarded as the apex-level forum for military and strategic brainstorming, serving as a platform where the nation’s top civil and defence leadership come together to deliberate on conceptual, structural, and operational priorities shaping India’s security architecture.
