Katihar, September 8 (HS): In a major operation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out raids in Sukhasan village of Bihar’s Katihar district. During the search, the NIA team detained local resident Iqbal from his residence and handed over a written notice to his family.
Iqbal’s brother, Vaseeq, confirmed that the raid was conducted on the basis of a search warrant.
According to local accounts, the NIA simultaneously raided nearly half a dozen other locations in the village. The action created an atmosphere of panic across the area, leaving villagers anxious. Many said they had never witnessed such raids before and were trying to understand whether the operation was linked to a larger network.
As of now, the NIA has not issued any official statement regarding the raids. Both villagers and officials remain watchful, awaiting further details on the case.
