Chennai, 8 September (H.S.) : The Madras High Court has passed an interim order temporarily restraining the makers of the Tamil film Good Bad Ugly starring Ajith Kumar from using three songs composed by legendary music director Ilaiyaraaja.

The songs in question are Otha Rubayum Tharen, Ilamai Idho Idho, and En Jodi Manja Kuruvi. The court order came in response to a lawsuit filed by Ilaiyaraaja, alleging copyright infringement and unauthorized use of his compositions.

The lawsuit claims that the film's producers used the songs without obtaining necessary permissions or paying royalties, prompting Ilaiyaraaja to send a legal notice demanding ₹5 crore in compensation and removal of the songs from the film.
