Mumbai, 08 Sept (HS): Three people died in Maharashtra’s
Nashik and Thane districts on Monday morning in different road accidents. Two
others were reported injured and have been admitted to a local hospital.
According
to the police, an ST bus hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction on
Nakik’s Sakri-Shirdi highway, killing the triple-seat motorcycle riders. The
three were killed on the spot. Satana Police are trying to establish their
identities.
In
Thane district, a speeding vehicle hit a motorcycle from behind near Badlapur’s
Katrap Ring Road. A youth and a woman were injured in the accident. Badlapur
police rushed to the scene and admitted the two to a hospital.
According
to the Badlapur police, the woman, Nirmala Gaikwad, was going to a medical
store with her friend when the accident happened.
