Guwahati, 08 September (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has confirmed that his government is determined to prevent illegal migrants from re-entering the state once they are deported.

Sharing details of the ongoing action on Monday, the CM mentioned that 18 infiltrators were sent back to their country last night. He stressed that all necessary legal steps are being taken to ensure such individuals cannot return to Assam again.
