(HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tributes to third

Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Amardas Ji Maharaj

and 'Padma Shri' Prof. Govind Swaroop on Sunday. Yogi Adityanath posted a

message on X, which reads as follows: “Tributes to the third Sikh Guru, a

symbol of service, dedication and social harmony, Shri Guru Amardas Ji Maharaj

on his Jyoti Jyot Diwas! The mandatory langar tradition established by him,

equality with respect for women, teachings of service and spirituality are

still illuminating the path of humanity.”

In another post,

he mentioned, “Humble tribute to the bright star of Indian astronomy, 'Padma

Shri' Prof. Govind Swaroop on his death anniversary! Your research and vision

in the field of radio astronomy still makes India proud on the global stage.

Your farsightedness and dedication in the astronomical field is a source of

inspiration for the entire scientific world.”
