Guwahati, 07 September (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday extended his heartiest wishes to former Member of Parliament Dr. Rajdeep Roy on his birthday.

The Chief Minister lauded Dr. Roy’s contribution during his tenure as Silchar’s MP, noting that he worked tirelessly to advance the city’s growth. He also highlighted that Dr. Roy is now actively engaged in strengthening the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura.

Dr. Sarma further offered prayers to Maa Kamakhya and Srimanta Sankardev for Dr. Roy’s long and healthy life.-------
