Guwahati (Assam), 05 September (HS): On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday paid homage to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day across the country.
CM Sarma highlighted the traditional belief that teachers are revered as the embodiment of the supreme being in Sanatan culture. He expressed his deep respect to Dr. Radhakrishnan, a distinguished scholar who rose to the nation’s highest office as President of India.
The Chief Minister also extended his heartfelt reverence to all teachers of the country, acknowledging their invaluable role in shaping society and the future generations.
