Kolkata, 5 September (H.S.): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday extended heartfelt greetings to people on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
In her message, Banerjee said the Prophet’s teachings continue to serve as a guiding light for society, emphasizing human welfare, compassion, and brotherhood.
“On the sacred occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, I extend warm greetings and best wishes to everyone. May this day strengthen the spirit of peace, harmony, and unity among people,” the Chief Minister said.
She further added that the life of Prophet Muhammad stands as a symbol of service to humanity and commitment to justice. “We must draw inspiration from his teachings to promote love, compassion, and mutual cooperation in society,” Banerjee noted.
