New Delhi, September 3 (HS) : Calling upon the youth to safeguard India’s culture and civilizational values, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the need to raise voices against cultural erosion and moral decline. “As devotees of Lord Krishna, we must have the courage to call wrong, wrong – no matter how powerful the person in front of us may be,” she asserted.

Speaking at the Content Creators’ Summit on Indian Culture, Tourism & Wellness organized by ISKCON in the capital, the Chief Minister urged young Indians to take an active role in nation-building. The event witnessed the participation of over 500 content creators from across the country.

Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav, Delhi’s Tourism and Culture Minister Kapil Mishra, and other dignitaries also attended the summit.

Addressing the gathering, CM Gupta underlined the urgent need for youth engagement:

“Our youth brigade must keep growing, because now the nation needs you. If someone points fingers at our country and we remain silent, that cannot be tolerated. It is time to respond. This battle may be fought through mobile phones and computers, but it is no less important than any fought on the borders with weapons.”

She added that every citizen making small contributions towards society can bring about definite change and that cultural preservation is as much a duty as national defense.

Highlighting the importance of the platform, Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra said the summit aimed to connect young influencers with the cause of nation, religion, and culture.

“When India’s youth, whose voices reach the world, are aligned with cultural and spiritual values, the dream of a developed India becomes achievable,” he said.

On the occasion, ISKCON announced a mega youth event on October 12 in Delhi, where nearly 15,000 youngsters are expected to participate. The event will be dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaigns — Nasha Mukt Bharat (Drug-Free India) and Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

According to ISKCON, the initiative seeks to present Delhi as a city where every citizen and visitor can not only witness but also live and experience the essence of Indian culture.
