(HS): The first-of-its-kind Non-Conventional Energy Centre has been erected in

Nagpur. The Centre is the first in Central India, Director of Green Life

Solutions, Neha Deotale, said.

The Centre would

provide information about modern technology and equipment for using solar

energy for various purposes, including domestic use, agricultural pumps and in

industries.

Generating

awareness about sustainable energy sources like solar energy, wind energy, the use

of biomass, use of hydrogen, and e-vehicles is the main objective of the Centre.

Basic training for those interested can also be conducted.

A roadshow to

promote was launched on Tuesday from Hingna MIDC in Nagpur. Through the

roadshow, more than 306 equipment supplied by Hoymiles are being promoted. The

company is the second biggest supplier of Microinverters, Deotale said.
