Silchar (Assam), 24 September (HS): In a major anti-narcotics operation, Cachar Police intercepted a vehicle coming from a neighbouring state and seized 3 lakh YABA tablets worth around ₹90 crore.
Two drug peddlers were arrested during the raid. Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the police, stating that the only high the accused will now experience is behind bars.
The Assam Police have intensified their crackdown on drug trafficking across the state in recent months.-------
