Nagpur, 09 Aug (HS): On
the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Regional Tibetan Women’s
Association and sisters from the Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch visited Rashtriya
Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat and tied rakhis,
symbolizing the bond of protection and goodwill. The sisters expressed their
warm wishes and prayers for his long life and continued service to the nation.
Adding to the
celebrations, members of the Rashtra Sevika Samiti, residents from the Mahal
area, and sisters from the Disha 30 group also tied rakhis to Dr Bhagwat. The
atmosphere was filled with festive spirit as participants exchanged greetings
and shared the cultural significance of the occasion.
The event reflected
the unity and cultural harmony between communities, with women from diverse
backgrounds coming together to uphold the traditions of Raksha Bandhan. The
ceremony concluded with blessings, expressions of gratitude, and reaffirmation
of mutual respect and brotherhood.
