Delhi, 4 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) initiative, organized by the Ministry of Education and MyGov since 2018, has achieved a Guinness World Record for “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month,” with 3.53 crore registrations during the 8th edition. This program allows direct interaction between the Prime Minister and students, teachers, and parents, creating a positive atmosphere around exams.

The Guinness certificate was presented in New Delhi in the presence of key officials, including Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and others, with validation by official adjudicator Rishi Nath. Pradhan emphasized that under Modi's leadership, PPC has redefined examinations as a learning festival, highlighting the total viewership of 21+ crore across various media platforms. This participation reflects a national commitment to education aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Ashwini Vaishnaw described PPC as a distinct initiative promoting well-being and stress-free learning, noting that the record illustrates public trust in the initiative. Shri Jitin Prasada praised MyGov for enhancing participatory governance and using technology to expand PPC's reach.

NEP 2020 supports the initiative's focus on joyful learning and critical cognitive skill development rather than rote learning. PPC has evolved into a national movement aimed at transforming exams into avenues for self-expression, where the Prime Minister addresses challenges related to time management, digital distractions, and emotional resilience, offering practical guidance to all stakeholders.

The 2025 success is recognized as a collective achievement. The commitment to participatory governance and holistic education is highlighted, ensuring PPC's role as a fundamental element of student engagement in India. Each year, PPC reinforces the notion that exams signify new beginnings rather than endings.
