Darrang (Assam), 31 August (HS): Yet another accident occurred on National Highway 15 in the Mangaldoi block circle area. An unidentified vehicle hit two persons and fled the scene.

The injured have been identified as Mukti Das of Mangaldoi and Manoj Sharma of Bamunpara. Locals immediately rushed to the spot and shifted both victims to Mangaldoi Civil Hospital, where doctors provided first aid.

However, due to the severity of his injuries, Manoj Sharma was referred to Guwahati Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.--------
