Golaghat (Assam), 31 August (HS): A major accident occurred on the National Highway at Kohora in Kaziranga, disrupting traffic in the area.

According to reports, a vehicle (AS-01 FL-5275) traveling from Nagon towards Jorhat lost control and collided on the road, causing a blockage on the highway. With the assistance of locals, police managed to rescue the passengers trapped inside the vehicle.

The driver and three others sustained injuries in the mishap. All injured were rushed to Kohora Model Hospital for treatment.--------
