Guwahati (Assam), August 26 (HS): Basistha Police have arrested two vehicle thieves and recovered a stolen two-wheeler from their possession.

According to Assam Police Headquarters, a complaint was lodged on August 24 regarding the theft of a two-wheeler from Patharkuchi. Acting on the information, Basistha Police launched a raid and apprehended two bike thieves.

The accused have been identified as Makul Diwan (22) of Guwahati and Abed Ali (23) of Barpeta district. Police also recovered the stolen black NTO RQ scooty bearing registration number AS-25Z-6798. Further investigation is underway based on the FIR filed earlier.---------
