New Delhi, Aug 25 (HS): The Supreme Court Collegium on Monday recommended the elevation of two High Court Chief Justices to the apex court. The names cleared are Chief Justice Alok Aradhe of the Bombay High Court and Chief Justice V.M. Pancholi of the Patna High Court.

At present, the Supreme Court has 32 judges, including the Chief Justice of India. Once the Centre approves these appointments, the sanctioned strength of 34 judges in the top court will be complete.
