Nadia, 25 August (H.S.): A passenger bus collided with the rear of a lorry parked on the side of the road on National Highway No. 12 in Shantipur bypass area of Nadia district on Monday morning.The front part of the bus was almost completely bent. 25 people have been injured in the accident, out of which about 12 are seriously injured. It is learnt that the bus was going from Krishnanagar in Nadia to Kolkata.

This accident happened near B.Ed College located on National Highway No. 12. According to sources, many passengers have been admitted to Shantipur State General Hospital. At the same time, a number of passengers have also been taken to Krishnanagar and Ranaghat Hospital for treatment. On information, The police from Shantipur police station reached the spot and started further action.
