Ahmedabad ,August 25(HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ahmedabad on Monday to a rousing reception and held a spectacular roadshow that drew massive crowds along the route. The Prime Minister landed at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, where he was welcomed by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, state ministers, senior officials, and party leaders.
From the airport,PM Modi embarked on a colourful roadshow lined with enthusiastic supporters waving tricolours and chanting slogans as he greeted the crowd while standing atop a specially-decorated vehicle.
Later in the evening, the Prime Minister is set to inaugurate, dedicate, and lay the foundation stones for a series of development initiatives worth ₹5,400 crore. The grand event will be held at Khodaldham ground, where thousands are expected to gather.
The projects, according to officials, span sectors including infrastructure, connectivity, and public amenities, reflecting the government’s push to accelerate Gujarat’s growth trajectory.
