Jagaddal, 25 August (H.S.): Tension erupted at the Alliance Jute Mill in Jagaddal on Monday following the sudden death of a worker. The deceased, identified as Daheri Yadav, reportedly collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest while on duty in the morning.

According to sources, Yadav was first rushed to the mill’s health center in a critical condition, but doctors declared him dead. News of his death triggered unrest inside the mill premises, as fellow workers demanded compensation for the victim’s family.

Police personnel from Jagaddal police station arrived at the spot to bring the situation under control. Workers alleged that Yadav died while performing his duties inside the mill, but the management showed indifference and failed to announce any compensation, leading to widespread anger among employees.
