Fatehpur, 25 Aug (HS): Due to continuous rain in Fatehpur
district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday, a kutcha house collapsed and two women
along with the house owner died. Four people were injured and have been
admitted to the district hospital. The kutcha house of Mukesh Bajpai (50)
son of late Ramsevak Bajpai, resident of Hardauli village of Bindki Kotwali
area collapsed. Mukesh Bajpai and his mother Madhuri Devi (85) died on the spot
after being buried under the debris. Mukesh's wife Ranno Devi (50) died during
treatment in the district hospital. While Mukesh Bajpai's daughter Kamini Devi
(13), daughter Kshamta Devi (22), daughter Prakashani Devi (15) and son Prakhar
(11) were seriously injured after being buried under the debris. There was
mourning in the entire village after the incident of house collapse.
Regarding the incident, Bhartiya Kisan Union district
president Naval Singh Patel, village head Rahul Patel, village resident
Gyanendra Patel and Saurabh Singh told that on Monday morning suddenly a kutcha
house collapsed due to which three people died and four people were seriously
injured. On getting information about the incident, Kotwali in-charge inspector
Lan Singh reached with the police force. He told that the police took the dead
bodies of deceased Mukesh Bajpai and mother Madhuri Devi into custody and sent
them for post-mortem.
