New Delhi, August 25(HS): Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, will represent India at the 2025 Chiefs of Defence Conference in Thailand, scheduled from August 26 to 28.

The high-profile annual forum, jointly hosted by the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) and the Royal Thai Armed Forces, serves as a premier platform for defence chiefs across the Indo-Pacific to deliberate on emerging regional and global security dynamics.

This year’s edition is expected to give sharp focus to maritime security, counter-terrorism, cyber resilience, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, and measures to uphold peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific.

During the three-day deliberations, Air Marshal Dixit will hold engagements with his counterparts from participating nations to explore avenues for bolstering joint preparedness, operational interoperability and strategic partnerships.

The visit not only reinforces New Delhi’s commitment to a rules-based and inclusive security architecture in the Indo-Pacific but also underscores India’s growing emphasis on multilateral cooperation and regional stability amid evolving security challenges.
