Kolkata, 25 August (H.S.): Only a few months are left for the assembly elections in West Bengal. With the beginning of the new year, the election bugle will be blown. Before that, the state BJP is busy in healing the organization further. Taking a step in this direction, state BJP president Shamik Bhattacharya is going to start a new programme from next month - 'Karyakarta Bandhu Ka Darbar'.
Under this programme, every Monday the state BJP president will listen to the complaints and problems of the workers. This dialogue will run from 2 pm to 6 pm at the BJP state headquarters in Muralidhar Sen Lane, Kolkata. The objective of the programme is to bring out the ground level flaws and dissatisfaction of the organization and find a solution to it.
In fact, due to factionalism and mutual discord in the state BJP, the organization is not getting the expected benefits. Dissatisfaction is constantly increasing among the lower level workers. To remove this dissatisfaction and strengthen the organization, the new state president Shamik Bhattacharya has taken the initiative.
His programme 'Karyakarta Bandhu Ka Darbar', which is organized every Monday, is a part of this strategy. In this, Shamik Bhattacharya will try to solve the problems related to the organization by directly communicating with the common workers.
In the month of July itself, Shamik Bhattacharya has been given the state command of BJP in place of Sukanta Majumdar. Keeping in mind the 2026 assembly elections, he is focusing on strengthening the organization and connecting the workers. BJP is considering it essential to strengthen the organization for a direct fight against Trinamool, and this is the reason why the new president has taken this new step.
