Guwahati (Assam), 25 August (HS): Arunachal Pradesh Police, with the help of local police, arrested a fraud accused, Noor Hussain, during a raid in Ghoramara, Guwahati, Hathigaon PS OC informed on Monday.

Police said that Noor Hussain, who was wanted by the South Singang Police in Arunachal Pradesh, had duped locals of around ₹70 lakh on the pretext of setting up mobile towers before fleeing. Acting on a tip-off, a team tracked him down and arrested him from Jyotipath in Ghoramara.

The accused is now in police custody and being taken to Arunachal Pradesh for further investigation.--------
