Lucknow, 24 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief
Minister Brajesh Pathak on Sunday launched Disha Health AI in a
program organized by Disha Diagnostics at a hotel in Lucknow. On this occasion,
he said that the stronger the health sector is to keep human life healthy, the more
we will benefit. Our doctors can make better use of AI in medical science. We
all will work shoulder to shoulder with the world to improve human life by
using this method. AI cannot replace the human brain. Therefore, doctors will
also have to use their brains while using AI.
Brajesh Pathak
said that a lot of changes are happening in the health sector under the
leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister of the state
Yogi Adityanath. The private sector also has an important role in it. Dr. Amit
Sharma, Director of Disha Health AI, said that this is India's first doctor-led
and artificial intelligence-based preventive health testing model. Its
objective is to provide world-class health facilities to the people of Uttar
Pradesh so that diseases can be identified in time. Doctor's advice can be
obtained and every citizen's life can be made healthier. This is the platform
where doctors and data come together to make prevention the best treatment.
Dr. Honey Bhaskar
said that in Uttar Pradesh we will accelerate comprehensive preventive
screening through Health ATMs. We will institutionalize AI training workshops
for doctors in the state. We will streamline the chain of mobile screening and
centralized drug distribution and bring telemedicine, data analytics and
AI-based decision-support into the mainstream of medicine. Prashant Bhatia,
special contact chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Avadh province, said that
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has given a new direction to Uttar Pradesh
in health services. Disha Health has given us all an opportunity to come
together and lay the foundation of change.
Provincial Vice
President of Krida Bharati, Anuj Tiwari said that when we talk about modern
science and medical technology, it is clear that tradition and modernity are
complementary and not opposite. In this confluence, artificial intelligence
(AI) is bringing revolutionary changes in medicine. Yoga guru R.N. Sharma and
Nitesh were prominently present on this occasion.
