Chennai, 24 August (H.S.) : The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has received the green light to drill hydrocarbon test wells in Ramanathapuram district, Tamil Nadu. The project involves drilling exploratory wells to assess the feasibility of extracting hydrocarbon reserves in the area.

The ONGC plans to drill test wells in 20 locations across Ramanathapuram district.
