Guwahati, 24 August (HS): Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal informed in a press conference on Sunday that the Assam Government has secured 4 bighas of land in Mumbai.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had made a special request to the Mumbai Port Authority on behalf of the Assam Government. Following this request, the Mumbai Port Authority has allotted the land to Assam Government for a lease period of 60 years.
