Mirzapur, 24 Aug (HS): A

married woman died under suspicious circumstances on Saturday night in Jigana

police station area of ​​Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh. As soon as the

information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took

the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. Jagdish Bind, a resident of

Kantit (Nachaniya Veer) of Vindhyachal Kotwali area, alleged that his sister

Soni was married to Pradeep Kumar Bind, a resident of Baghera Kala village of

Jigana police station area, four years ago. After marriage, the in-laws

constantly demanded additional dowry.

The family alleges that the

sister was tortured for not giving a bike and a gold chain. She died last

night. The brother says that the marks of injuries are clearly visible on the

sister's body and neck, which raises the suspicion of murder. The married

woman's brother has filed a named complaint against brother-in-law Pradeep

Kumar, father-in-law Lalmani and Vijayshankar. Police station in-charge Abhay

Singh said that a case has been registered and the body has been sent for

post-mortem. The real cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem

report arrives.
