Saharanpur, a lover killed his girlfriend's husband. The lover and the husband
had an argument late Saturday night. After this, the lover stabbed him several
times with a knife. He got injured due to the knife attack. The family and
villagers took the injured to the hospital. On reaching the hospital, the
doctors said that the woman's husband died due to excessive bleeding. The
police took the body into custody and kept it in the mortuary for postmortem. Mantu
(32), son of Mohar Singh, a resident of Shimlana village in the Badgaon police
station area, was stabbed to death by his neighbour Saurabh, son of Mukesh,
late on Saturday night. It is alleged that Saurabh had an illicit relationship
with Mantu's wife for a long time. This led to an argument and a fight between
the two on Saturday night. As the argument escalated, Saurabh got angry and
stabbed Mantu several times in the stomach. Mantu's family took him to a
hospital in Deoband in a serious condition, where doctors declared him dead.
As soon as the information
of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the body
into custody and sent it for postmortem. In the complaint given to the police,
the family members of the deceased have named three people including accused
Saurabh son of Mukesh and his uncle Sanjeev son of Prakash. The police have
registered a case of murder and started investigation. Officials say that the
accused will be arrested soon. The villagers have demanded strict action
against the accused. They say that it is very important to curb such incidents
and the culprits should get the harshest punishment.
